This year there will be two themes!
From invisible digital noise to human stories connected to water.

Theme 1 – Invisible Digital Noise

(related to the topics of digital pollution and sustainable technology use)

The hidden burden of the digital world – data traffic, energy demand, electromagnetic fields, and constant online presence – has an increasing impact on our environment. This theme draws attention to how technology shapes ecosystems, the role of AI in understanding environmental processes, and the creative solutions that can reduce our digital footprint. “Invisible digital noise” expresses everything we do not see, yet that surrounds us — and which films are able to make visible.

Theme 2 – Water and Humans: Personal Stories

Our relationship with water is deeply personal: it can be joy, fear, absence, memory, or ritual. Participants can tell their own or their community’s water-related story in one minute — a childhood experience, a family tradition, a bond with a lake or river, or even a struggle caused by water scarcity. The aim of this theme is to show that water is not merely a natural element, but a defining part of our identity and everyday lives.
